TERMS OF BUSINESS

By placing an order, you agree to our terms and conditions, whether you have read them or not.

1.    Given your consent to the quotation the contract between you and Silver Bird Group is valid. 

2.    The quotation is valid for a period of 2 month. One order which can include all of our offered services should be finished within 2 weeks. 

3.    Because of the high water pressure up to 14 bar for pipe cleaning we reject any responsibility of a possible pipe damage. E.g. it is predamaged, rotten, not properly fixed, under calcification, urine stain sediments or other circumstances beyond our control. 

4.    For unforeseen extra work which was not recognizable at the inspection for this quotation will is a surcharge according to our rates. 

5.    It is not the duty of our technicians to remove furniture or other things out of the working place. The working area has to be cleared of all furniture ore all other removable things. 

6.    A 220 Volts and a water connection must be provided. 

7.    If there is need for cleaning over a height of 4 meters special ladders or scaffolding must be provided ready to use by you on your own costs. 

8.    After cleaning carpets and other fabric materials it will be dump (not wet). We recommend keeping the windows open and guaranteeing for a good air circulation. Do not use before it is dry. Bear in mind that long-haired material needs more time to dry. 

9.    For damage to objects, buildings or facilities despite correct work but cause circumstances beyond our control we are not liable. 

10.  By defects or damage caused by improper treatment after cleaning we are not liable. 

11.  If you incur losses due to non-use of premises or property by the work or its aftermath, we shall not be liable regardless of the length of the time period. 

12. If you cancel or postpone a cleaning appointment within 24 hours before and if it incurred costs for us you have to compensate us. The same applies if a work order from you is abandoned or postponed before completion. 

13.  Is a multiple transport for an order necessary for reasons you are responsible you have to pay that extra transports. 

14. Because of special circumstances we may ask for an advance payment. 

15. Payment of the invoice must be made within one week. If the deadline is exceeded, we are entitled to charge the bank interest rate for an account overdraft. 

16. The place of jurisdiction is Nuwara Eliya. 

To avoid misunderstandings we ask you to read our terms of business. Please keep the fixed dates and times for our service also in consideration of our other customers. If you have serious reasons to change the fixed date please undertake it so early as possible.
